Let The Shadows Fall Behind You

I finished that AP test I was so worried about... I might become more active, but I've decided not to join large-scale RPs until the end of the school year due to finals. I'm open to 1x1s and other small groups, but nothing major. AND I practiced drawing again! XD

This is Catherine, commonly known as Cathy, a Nemesis NXT with quite a legacy behind her. Some of you might know her from either PropwashForever's stories or my own, and I uploaded the sketch of this drawing a week or so ago. She's a story-jumper, connecting worlds in her travels, though not to the benefit of the characters she impacts. As Omega (PropwashForever) puts it, she's a bit of a free-runner.

She was Jake Wingston's fiance; after having Tera, however, she abandoned the two of them at LAFB for an unknown reason, likely her directive to race making her much flightier when in one place for too long (in my IRII universe anyways). She doesn't understand why she left them in the first place (again, in IRII. Otherwise, she's still unable to stay settled because that's the kind of plane she is, and she understands that. She can't help herself, though, and it hurts her to think that she can't stay in one place long enough to raise a family), but she eventually ends up settling down a second time with Ron (PropwashForever), having Clara (Also PropwashForever XD) a few years later. Ron ended up leaving her, and she learned what it felt like to be abandoned, helping her figure out how to control herself and attempt to raise Clara on her own; unfortunately, shortly after this happened, she died tragically of an unknown illness, leaving Clara alone in the world... until she and Tera discover each other, anyways.

My comments: Why teal? Everything Prop and I end up sharing or collaborating on ends up being some shade of blue-green or teal or something. Also, it's about time Cathy had a form XD. She's been around almost as long as Tera has, and she'll be a year old in June. Also, this was really fun to put together... my first time totally designing a plane's colors and actually doing a somewhat decent job at it XD. And playing with lighting/shading. Still not the best, but I'm getting there. Could probably use some more highlights because she's metal, but it's midnight right now and I honestly don't care anymore XD. So... yep
